The show, that Magnificent Matter & Sofi Paez have prepared, begins with a simple yet profound question:

Microscopes reveal realms too small for the naked eye — vibrant landscapes of form, color, and movement that remind us life is richer and more complex than it first appears. Our mission is to transform these invisible dimensions into immersive experiences that spark curiosity, wonder, and connection.
This vision resonates deeply with ZEISS Microscopy, whose innovations have expanded human perception for over 175 years. For us, their instruments are more than scientific tools — they are invitations to shift perspectives and explore the unseen forces shaping our world.
That shared belief is why we are proud to collaborate with ZEISS Microscopy for our performance at Expo 2025 Osaka. With their support, we can access a vast spectrum of microscopic imagery, allowing us to tell stories at the intersection of art, science and culture.
Together with pianist and composer Sofi Paez, Magnificent Matter will present a live performance where music and microscopy converge. In real-time, audiences will witness unseen worlds revealed, accompanied by original soundscapes that create a multisensory journey.
